Outswinging doors are often used in long-distance buses designed for high road speeds.
The door mechanism is located to the side of the door opening, and there is no mechanism over the top of the doorway. Thus, the upper part of the doorway is almost free of components. This door system is especially suitable for long-distance buses with stairs in the immediate vicinity of the door opening.
Outswinging doors are also used on city buses, but in these instances the mechanism is located above the door opening.
We produce and deliver outswinging doors both in single- or double-door models.
